This introductory course in Computer-Aided presents the basic operation of 3d in CAAD. It emphasizes conceptual design development, 3d design and modelling. The students start with developing a simple form, mass or object in the early stage of course of the 2nd season.
The further stage of the 3d modelling course is a design-focused course which helps the students to learn further logic of 3d modelling techniques such as wire frame, mesh, poly surface, nurbs surface, solid editing etc. The students will explore their studio project in 3d model and find its alternatives.
Optionally, the students will be encouraged to fabricate their model by using laser cutting machine.
